It is pure joy to get this from participants on S.H.E.Strategy. Because it means people benefit – and straight away. Plus the feedback below explains S.H.E.Strategy better than I ever could! Here’s what they’re saying:
S.H.E.Strategy is one of the greatest developmental tools I have been exposed to because it helped me organise myself on a professional and personal level and gave me practical tools to showcase who I am, what I am interested in and my capabilities to achieve them. We all know “what” we want, S.H.E.Strategy showed me “how” to get it.
It is very practical. I love that it gave me a road map to reach what I want. It hasn’t only helped me professionally, but personally as well.
How would you describe S.H.E.Strategy to someone at work/ in your circle of friends.
Practical training that will help you identify what you want objectively, give you a framework to reach what you want in an organised manner, the more you believe in it and put work into it, the more you will get out!
S.H.E. Strategy can be described as the best tool for someone who is stuck in a sense of where she/he wants to go. Because it opens up your mind and makes you think of what is it that you want, where you want to go, why you want this and how you can achieve it through a constructive plan.
What resonated with you most.
What resonated with me the most is that if I want to succeed, ambitions are not enough. I’ve got to have a “plan” and the only person who can help me with furthering myself is “me”. The power of my presence and how I “see” myself, along with the right skill-building exercises can help me become the best version of myself and reach as high as I can go, with clarity, without sacrificing my sanity and always create a powerful case.
Definitely “Clarity”. That word made an impact on me. Sometimes I get lost in a crazy work-pace and I miss the essence. Now I have started using the word “Clarity” as my “escape word” from the madness in my head! Also, even though I knew the saying “If you don’t ask, the answer will always be No” I will try to negotiate harder, using strong arguments to build my case as I accept that I have seen myself backing out of things that I want, as I don’t feel “ready” in opposed to a man who would have jumped on it without worrying if he is ready.
What challenged you most.
All the modules are unfolding beautifully and they are easy to comprehend. I was able to reflect myself with each module and I tried to bring real life examples in every presentation. I paused in each case and I visualised similar situations of how I have reacted or I would react on similar cases. In general I didn’t have any challenges. What astonished me, was the figures, as I wasn’t aware of how “unfortunate” the pulses are towards women.
Hahaa and I promise I event said the poems out loud 🙂
What are you implementing straight away
My presentation experience:
I’ve always been good at putting presentations together, but what I changed this time after attending the SHE strategy is tailor my delivery through the following:
Preparation:
I wanted to implement using the tools I learned from the SHE strategy as soon as I got the opportunity, which I piloted on a presentation I had to deliver to 80 people.
Making sure I get the audience’s interest in my presentation vs just informing them
Warmed my voice and did my power pose
Memorized the beginning of my presentation and the end and told myself it is ok if I forget something in between because they do not know what I have prepared.
Made sure I have presence
Execution:
While presenting, when I asked a question, all the audience raised their hands, which made me realize they are all interested and I that I nailed it!
After my presentation, my manager told me he had goosebumps on my closing slide! I got a satisfaction rate of 98% from the attendees and many people approached me for my expertise which I presented. This led into launching projects in new regions.
I had the same expertise, capabilities and passion to do more before this, but I was given an opportunity to present and used the SHE strategy to help me showcase what I can offer my organization in a way that made me be more visible, approachable and HEARD.
How is it different to other initiatives you’ve done?
It is different in many aspects: The duration is perfect, not too short (1 day for eg) and not too long (6 months for eg)
Any other comment.
You talk about the importance of having a female role model, and I think at this point of my life, you are that to me

How would you describe S.H.E.Strategy to someone at work/ a friend outside work.
S.H.E. strategy is a must-class for every women who is a colleague of mine, or a friend, or someone I am mentoring. It gives the weapons for constructive thinking and it helps you figure out who you are and where you want to go. And for me, that’s is the most important outcome.
It should be also studied by men too. The key is to change the “culture” and that cannot be done without Everyone being on board. It is not about “competition” but it is about bring in the right people who deserve to be promoted.
Want this for yourself? Here’s what you do!
