“Do you have any wine?” A little voice with big eyes greeted me this morning. My 11 year old was desperate not to disturb me, and to lay on a feast for my breakfast in equal measure.
And what a breakfast it was! I hope the people in your life celebrate you today – and more frequently throughout the year 😉

It’s a cupcake nestling on a pile of pancakes! A man after a girl’s heart or what 🙂
He didn’t make the cupcake, but did make and cook everything else. I tell you, his use of cumin in the pancake batter (mistaken for cinnamon powder) was a touch of gastronomic genius! Yum. And to top it all off, he even cleared up the kitchen after we watched the mum song.
And for the record, no, I have never had wine for breakfast…
